Jerltia Week 4, September 2012

Pertinacious"Why are you so stubborn?" Aelita sighed, smiling wryly, and twisted a screw into place. "Because I'm always right, of course," she replied, continue a banter the two geniuses had been going for a while. Standing back, she put her hands on her hips and surveyed her creation. "There. Jeremie, what do you think?" Jeremie turned slightly from bending his own creation and raised an eyebrow. "I thought you said you're always right." Aelita made a face at him, and he grinned. "It's interesting," he told her vaguely, and turned back around. "That's it?" Jeremie nodded, and Aelita let out an annoyed huff of breath. "Noooooo!"
"Oh, come on," Aelita begged. She was on the verge of tears but bravely held them back, as she had done for most of the afternoon. "Please, Nathalie. We have to go home now."
"NOOOOOO!" came the scream again, louder, and the tiny red-faced girl clung, monkey-like, to the bars of the swing-set. "DON'T WANNA."
Aelita bent down, looped her arms lightly around the child's waist, and tugged. In response, Nathalie only clung more tightly, her face screwed up in stubborn defiance. Petulant tears streamed down her face and even though she shouted, her words were barely coherent between sobs.

Osculator"No. No. Just...no!" "Come on, Princess, don't be a sore loser!" "Sore? Sore?! You'll be sore Odd Della-Roberra when I get through with you- Stop sniggering, Ulrich!" Rubbing his forehead, Jeremie strode across the school grounds to where four other students stood in a ragged circle. They were louder than usual, he noticed, and raised his eyebrows. Aelita looked furious, while Odd and Ulrich looked torn between hilarity and fear. Yumi, smiling slightly, hung back, shaking her head. "I'm afraid to ask," he announced, then took a step back when Aelita rounded on him. "Finally! Jeremie! A sane person." She waved her hand back in the vagu Osculator by ~Lovely-Madness-13

Celadon/MisconstrueGreen.
What did it mean? Green
the color of grass, of the leaves of trees. Green, like Aelita's eyes. The color of the Forest Sector.
The idea had popped into her head during her English class. Green. Sage, olive, emerald, celadon. So many words for one color. Aelita had taken a liking to the color. She found it transfixing. She decided to look up the color on the internet. Interestingly enough, she found that celadon, in terms of moods, was the color of envy. Envy. Jealousy, spite, resentment. She made a mental note of that.
Later that day, she was walking alone across the courtyard. Strangely, Jeremie was nowhere to be found. Aelit Celadon/Misconstrue by ~spikeambrose

Misconstrue"Did you hear about..." "No, really? What?" "Shut up, that can't be true! What about-" Voices. Teenage voices, flickered in the classroom. Giggles and gasps. Aelita sighed, rolling her eyes and trying ignore the noise. Gossip was so silly. And half the time they got the story wrong anyway. Engrossed in the book, she didn't noticed that the room had suddenly gone quieter. "Well...well, well." A hand slapped down on Aelita's book, blocking out the words. Recognizing the neon yellow nails on the hand, Aelita took a deep breathe, counted to ten, then forced a bright smile up at Sissy. Jerlita Week: CuddlesomeOdd gave him a ride back to campus because he was the only one still in school. He, like the others Jeremie had eaten dinner with, was a year older than Jeremie, but Odd kept changing his major, and nobody thought he would really graduate.
"I'm kind of hoping to get my big break before I graduate. Then I don't have to worry about it," he explained. He'd been talking since the dinner broke up, but Jeremie didn't mind, because, after all, he didn't walk home.
"In what?" Jeremie asked, because he wanted to be polite.
Odd shrugged. "Eh. That changes every week, too. Right now I'm really into filmmakingit's so organic¸ you know?"

CuddlesomeLove.
Teenagers can't really express love, and when they do, it's either over-the-top or not enough. Jeremie and Aelita fall into the category of "not enough."
Their story is a curious one. They both love each other, they both know it. But Aelita waits for Jeremie to make the first move, while Jeremie's too shy to make the move, so he waits for Aelita to do it. And it stays that way. Until one day
.
One day at Kadic, the Lyoko Warriors were walking around the forest, on their lunch period. Talking and joking with each other, they walked as far as the Hermitage.

Circumlocution"I am such an idiot." Aelita buried her face against her hands, grumbling. "Stupid, stupid-" "Princess, you okay?" Aelita looked up, still frowning, and looked over at Yumi, who was sitting across from her at the table. She opened her mouth to reply, then shut it again, and shrugged. How could she talk to Yumi or the others if she couldn't make sense to the one who knew her best? Aelita sighed again, and Yumi raised her eyebrows. "Something's got your back up. What's wrong?" Her dark eyes flashed. "Did Sissy pull something?" Aelita shook her head, choking out a humorless laugh. "Ha. I wish." She sighed. "I don't know...Yumi...have eve Circumlocution by ~Lovely-Madness-13

Celadon (Jerlita week 4)Green. Jeremy swallowed his anger and smiled at Theo, who was talking with Aelita. That was the color of envy. He wasn't blind. Did they think he couldn't see their flirtatious looks or winks? But it wasn't quite accurate, Jeremy thought. Jeremy clenched his fist, shoving it into his pocket so Aelita couldn't see it. He knew she wasn't hers, but
He let out a quick breath through his nose. Aelita had been getting more popular, and it wasn't too surprising for himafter all, why wouldn't she? She was funny, smart, kind, pretty
beautiful. Envy was green like her eyes, but not quite. That green was too pretty. Too good Celadon (Jerlita week 4) by ~Adventurer411

CeladonLate one night at Kadic Junior High, a young Jeremie Belpois sat awake with Aelita Stones: one of his favorite people in the world. The two were up late pecking away on their keyboards, working on some of their usual Lyoko programming.
Aelita let out a ferocious yawn, her dancing fingers coming to a halt. She took a deep breath, noticing that the air, of course, smelled like Jeremie. She smiled drowsily to herself. Leaning back against the wall Jeremie's bed was pressed up against, she began her short break, examining his room.
His dorm, of course, held the usual dorm-like contents- some books, a computer, dully painted walls- but there was Celadon by ~that-witch-bitch
